Do You Know Any Colorado Diné Who Need a Good Family Computer...For Free?
The primary goal of Diné of Denver is to bring all Colorado Diné together so we can preserve our cultural identity. Toward that end, we have adopted bylaws which state that it is our objective to become a Colorado Chapter of the Navajo Nation. To achieve this goal, we must come together.
One of the obstacles we must overcome is that Diné in Northern Colorado are spread out over a greater distance than our Diné back home in any given Chapter. That makes coming together more difficult. However, it can be done.
The purpose of the Message Board on this website is to bring our people in Colorado together through easy communication. Any person can make an announcement on the discussion board. You don't need my
permission or anybody else's. The announcements may include anything of interest to Colorado Diné. That includes, for example, posting an announcement on a march for diabetes awareness, a job vacancy you become aware of, or anything else which may be of interest to our Colorado Diné.
Problem is, if you don't have a computer to access the Message Board, you are missing out on this. Solution is, make sure all our Colorado Diné are equipped with a good enough computer to access the Diné Message Board. So, if you know of any Colorado Diné who do not have access to the internet, please have them contact me. My telephone
noumber is (303) 870-5888. All our computers are good, family computers. First priority will go to single moms. Second priority goes to Diné students in Colorado. Computers will be dontated only to enrolled members of the Navajo Nation. Sorry, no exceptions.
Supplies will obviously depend on donations, but right now things are looking good. So, please step up for your fellow Diné and let's get the word out to as many Colorado Diné as possible that this opportunity does exist. Let's all come together.
